AI-Focused Senior Data Engineer Position

Job Description

Transform your career with Appnovation as a Senior Data Engineer specializing in AI and agents. This role is crucial for preparing and managing enterprise domain data.

In this impactful role, you will utilize your strong data engineering skills to partner closely with stakeholders, building data agents over governed datasets across Databricks and Snowflake. You will also oversee lakehouse migrations and ensure the accuracy and governance of all enterprise data as it transitions to agent-based access.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and register data agents across governed tables

• Execute lakehouse migrations with open-format conversions

• Create catalogue metadata to support automation

• Engage with stakeholders through validation cycles

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field

• 5+ years in data engineering, primarily with Databricks and Snowflake

• Hands-on experience building data agents over datasets

• Proficiency in SQL, Spark/PySpark, and data governance

• Solid understanding of pipeline orchestration methods
