eBay Senior Data Engineer Position

Job Description

Take on a pivotal role as a Senior Data Engineer at eBay, where your skills will propel our data-driven ecosystem. Design and build advanced data solutions that scale.

We're looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer to develop and manage robust data infrastructures. This role focuses on creating efficient real-time and batch data pipelines using technologies like Spark, Kafka, and AWS. Partner with Data Science and Product teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build efficient real-time batch data pipelines with Kafka

• Oversee data workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow

• Improve data quality with automated frameworks

• Construct scalable solutions on Databricks and AWS

• Manage comprehensive projects from design to implementation

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or software development

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala

• Familiarity with distributed systems and data architecture
