Technical Manager - CANDU MONARK Project

Job Description

Lead cutting-edge engineering efforts on the CANDU MONARK Project with AtkinsRéalis as the Technical Manager. Supervise civil and structural design from basic engineering to detailed execution.

As a member of the Engineering Management Team, you will coordinate module implementations, manage civil engineering teams, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your expertise will directly impact the successful delivery of nuclear power plant designs while managing multifaceted projects and overseeing engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead civil and structural design processes for nuclear projects

• Manage and develop engineering and drafting teams

• Plan project work to align with quality and cost objectives

• Ensure adherence to engineering, regulatory, and contractual standards

• Oversee proposal development and risk mitigation strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• 10+ years of engineering experience in relevant fields

• 5+ years in EPC environments

• 2+ years of leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams

• Proven regulatory interface with CNSC
