Technical Manager for Nuclear Projects

Job Description

Lead technical management for the CANDU MONARK project at AtkinsRéalis. This pivotal role involves overseeing licensing activities and ensuring project deliverables meet high standards.

As a Technical Manager, you will be key in guiding teams through the complex phases of the new build nuclear power plant. Your responsibilities include approving technical documents, setting work plans, and interfacing with clients to guarantee that all engineering products align with specifications. With 10 years of nuclear engineering experience, this position demands adept management of multidisciplinary work and robust communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Approve technical documents from team members

• Plan and execute work to meet project milestones

• Identify and eliminate barriers impacting deliverables

• Provide technical advisory and subject matter expertise

• Participate in proposal preparation and review processes

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years in a nuclear project environment

• Experience with CANDU design and regulatory standards

• Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
