Stantec Forestry Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Stantec is hiring a Forestry Mechanical Engineer to drive innovative projects. Join a growing team dedicated to advancing energy solutions in the sustainable forestry sector.

We require a process engineer with experience in pulp and paper or bio-forestry. The selected candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and possess at least 5 years of engineering expertise. This role includes project leadership, technical design tasks, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering design support for forestry projects

• Lead feasibility studies and technical calculations

• Assist in engineering drawings and reporting tasks

• Conduct peer reviews for project deliverables

• Foster business development through client engagement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering

• Valid Professional Engineer license

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in related fields

• Strong project management skills are desirable

• Willingness to travel to client sites
