Mechanical Systems Representative at Stantec

Job Description

Join Stantec as a Mechanical Systems Representative to oversee building projects across British Columbia. In this role, you will ensure that mechanical installations adhere to design specifications and building codes.

In this full-time position, your expertise in mechanical systems and construction practices will be pivotal for effective site coordination and execution. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, you will handle all aspects of mechanical construction administration while reviewing and interpreting critical design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mechanical field reviews for installation accuracy

• Review HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems

• Provide actionable recommendations for deficiencies found

• Oversee administrative processes including shop drawings

• Support commissioning and ensure project closeout compliance

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology

• 10+ years of relevant experience in the field

• Ability to interpret mechanical design documents

• Excellent coordination and communication abilities
