Data/Analytics Engineering Lead at Dutch

Job Description

Lead data innovation at Dutch as a Data/Analytics Engineer and support our mission to enhance pet care. Utilize your technical skills in a hybrid work model to transform our data landscape.

In this senior role, you'll be responsible for measuring product impact and guiding decision-making through data insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams as you delve deep into analytics engineering using tools like Segment, Amplitude, and Snowflake. This position is crucial for ensuring every dashboard and metric reflects trusted data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee event instrumentation and define data schemas

• Build actionable dashboards and visualizations using Amplitude

• Drive the optimization of ELT processes using dbt and Prefect

• Ensure data security and governance across all operations

• Troubleshoot data incidents and implement root-cause fixes

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering

• Strong SQL and Python programming skills

• Working knowledge of Snowflake and dbt

• Familiarity with analytics and product experimentation tools

• Ability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic setting
