Vancity Lead Full-Stack GenAI Developer

Job Description

Join Vancity as a Lead Full-Stack GenAI Developer, focusing on delivering secure AI solutions. Work in a hybrid setting while contributing to member-focused projects.

In this full-time, permanent role, you'll take charge of creating innovative generative AI and agentic AI systems, from inception to production. Your experience will be pivotal in turning ambiguous requirements into measurable technical designs and enterprise-grade applications. Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the highest quality and safety across delivered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of secure Generative AI and agentic solutions

• Design production-quality code, APIs, and agent workflows

• Build accessible applications using React, TypeScript, and Azure technologies

• Execute secure CI/CD practices and monitoring frameworks

• Mentor team members and perform code reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in computer science or similar

• At least 8 years in software and AI engineering

• Proficient in production GenAI system development

• Strong frontend skills with React and TypeScript

• Background in cloud integration and API management
