Job Description

Become a key player at Arc'teryx as a Design Developer 2, focusing on creating innovative solutions within the Women’s Run design team. This role emphasizes your technical skills in design and passion for outdoor apparel.

As a Design Developer 2, you will bring over 4 years of technical experience to the team, working on diverse garment types, from softshells to insulated layers. You’ll support the design process by sewing prototypes, testing materials, and collaborating with various departments to realize Arc'teryx's design goals. Your proactive mindset will be instrumental in solving design challenges and enhancing product functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on prototype development to align with design intent

• Sew resolved garments and support manufacturing documentation

• Test and assess materials for various construction techniques

• Support project documentation for funding programs

• Collaborate on seasonal projects with the design team

Requirements:

• 4+ years in a technical design role

• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design

• Experience with CAD software and pattern making

• Strong building and sewing capabilities

• Knowledge of Arc'teryx products and outdoor activities
