Contract Senior Software Developer Needed

Job Description

Join our team as a Senior Software Developer specializing in Spring Boot, Node.js, or .NET Core in Toronto. This is a 12-month contract role that requires expertise in backend frameworks and container orchestration.

We're looking for a Senior Software Developer with a minimum of 10 years' experience in high-scale, distributed systems. You will utilize your knowledge of backend frameworks along with Docker and Kubernetes for robust application management. Your experience with microservices and API development in a cloud environment will be crucial to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and optimize backend solutions with Spring Boot, Node.js, or .NET Core

• Implement containerization strategies using Docker

• Lead the development of microservice architectures

• Use CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments

• Develop APIs for scalable cloud applications

Requirements:

• 10+ years in software development

• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases

• Experience in serverless computing with Azure Functions

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures like RabbitMQ

• Comprehensive understanding of service discovery and load balancing
