Lead Platform Engineer with Rivian

Job Description

Serve as a Lead Platform Engineer at Rivian to transform developer workflows and build sophisticated CI/CD infrastructures. Focus on empowering development teams in a fast-paced environment.

In this senior role, you will design and manage Rivian’s Internal Developer Platform (IDP). Your hands-on expertise in continuous integration and release management will significantly contribute to improved developer experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable CI/CD pipelines using modern tools

• Enhance developer environments for efficiency gains

• Implement GitOps practices for application stability

• Oversee SCM architecture to ensure system integrity

• Troubleshoot issues and provide system monitoring

Requirements:

• 7–10 years in Platform Engineering or DevOps

• Proven track record in CI/CD and Kubernetes utilization

• Experience with GitLab, Argo CD, or equivalent systems

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code practices

• Strong coding skills with a focus on automation
