Principal Software Engineer - Generative AI Rivian

Job Description

Take the lead in AI innovation at Rivian as a Principal Software Engineer. Focus on scaling Generative AI systems and enhancing backend infrastructure to support cutting-edge applications.

In this pivotal role, you will design, implement, and oversee scalable solutions within the Data and AI Platform team. Work closely with machine learning experts and cross-functional teams to ensure your AI solutions meet commercial demands and elevate customer engagement. Your input will drive new capabilities and inform strategic product development timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead AI solution development aligned with customer workflows

• Coordinate with teams to enhance product through Generative AI

• Pinpoint opportunities for product iterations and improvements

• Create reliable web application infrastructures for security

• Oversee bottleneck identification and resolution processes

Requirements:

• Proven experience in enterprise software iterations

• Expertise in building applications with AWS and serverless design

• Proficient in programming with Golang, Python, and similar languages

• Understanding of Unix, Cloud networking, and container management

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and version control systems
