Lead Software Engineer - Purolator

Job Description

Shape Purolator's digital strategy as a Software Development Manager in Mississauga, ON. Take charge of innovative projects that enhance customer relations and digital experiences.

You will report directly to the Product & Technology group, where your leadership will significantly enhance customer-facing platforms like Purolator.com and Microsoft 365 solutions. This hands-on technical role requires expertise in software delivery, team coaching, and modern engineering practices, including AI adoption and cloud solutions. Your leadership will drive meaningful change in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage comprehensive software delivery from start to finish

• Set technical standards and oversee SDLC compliance

• Build a competent cross-functional engineering team

• Enhance platform support through automation

• Collaborate with business leaders on tech strategies

Requirements:

• 6-10 years in software development roles

• 5+ years of team leadership in complex environments

• Expertise in full-stack development and digital products

• Strong stakeholder communication and negotiation skills

• Track record of leveraging AI and automation
