• Maintain oversight and responsibility for the Your Health Space program curriculum, modules, workshop materials, training materials, videos, workshop catalogue, and other curriculum components through a quality improvement lens
• Prepare for and deliver Your Health Space training to leaders, frontline healthcare workers, supportive healthcare professionals, Ministry staff, and public health staff across Ontario
• Lead updates and development of the curriculum and associated materials based on current research and practice, workplace trends, mental health best practices, EDIA best practices, the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, and client and participant feedback
• Maintain up-to-date trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property rights on Your Health Space materials in partnership with the Manager, Training and Curriculum, and Director Your Health Space
• Lead the development and implementation of customized workshops for clients
• Provide community-based training as scheduled according to program needs, client demand, and operational requirements
• Host training and development opportunities for Your Health Space team members on workplace mental health best practices and curriculum updates
• Liaise with internal CMHA Ontario resource positions to enhance program quality and reach
• Participate in Your Health Space subcommittees
• Attend regular Your Health Space and CMHA Ontario team meetings
• Perform other duties as required
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience training adult learners required
Work experience in the healthcare sector required
Direct patient/client care experience strongly preferred
Experience in curriculum development, including modules, workshop materials, training materials, and other pieces of the curriculum
Certification/designation in a relevant healthcare field (e.g., RN, RP, RPN, BSW, MSW, PSW, SSW, CYC etc.) preferred
Ability to deliver training effectively in English required
Ability to deliver training in French a strong asset
Ability to design and deliver curricula related to mental health and addictions
Experience within the mental health or healthcare field is a strong asset
Experience in program leadership and experience and training in project management is a strong asset
Familiarity with key concepts of mental health promotion, health equity, and social determinants of health an asset
Working knowledge of the mental health and addictions sector, workplace mental health, and the Z1003 National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong writing, editing, and presentation skills with a high attention to detail
Experience applying judgment, initiative, and discretion when dealing with confidential, legal, and/or sensitive information
Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook), database management, and email software
G Class license required
Full COVID-19 vaccination required as a condition of employment
