Structural Engineering Internship at Hatch

Job Description

Embark on a hands-on journey in Structural Engineering with Hatch in Mississauga starting May 2027. This 4-month co-op allows you to contribute to global projects while supporting seasoned engineers.

Hatch is on the lookout for a Structural Engineering Student to join their dynamic Project Delivery Group. As a 3rd or 4th year Civil Engineering student, you will assist in design reviews, project assessments, and material research to impact energy and industrial projects. Your role promises exposure to world-class methodologies while fostering learning in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing engineering drawings and technical reports

• Conduct design calculations and material takeoff

• Use CAD tools for drawing and modeling reviews

• Support progress reporting for engineering tasks

• Collaborate with project staff as needed

Requirements:

• 3rd or 4th year Civil Engineering student

• Completed/enrolled in structural engineering courses

• Familiarity with CAD software like AutoCAD

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong commitment to job safety and teamwork
