Project Controller Internship at Hatch

Job Description

Gain hands-on experience as a Project Controller Student intern with Hatch in Mississauga, Ontario, starting January 2027. Engage in project planning, cost tracking, and resource management, contributing to impactful global projects.

This 4-month internship supports the Project Management & Construction group, where you'll assist the Project Controls Manager. You will take part in developing project schedules, preparing reports, and performing variance analysis. Collaborate with diverse teams and gain insights from industry leaders during this valuable internship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and updating project schedules

• Prepare weekly and monthly project control reports

• Track budgets and manage cost controls

• Support forecasting and analyzing project performance

• Collaborate with teams for data gathering and decision support

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s program in Engineering or related field

• Interest in Project Controls with scheduling experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis

• Familiarity with project controls tools is an asset

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
