Job Description

Become a crucial part of Dialpad's innovative AI team as an Applied AI Software Engineer. This hands-on role focuses on building scalable backend services and integrating advanced AI capabilities.

At Dialpad, the Applied AI team develops intelligent solutions for real-time business communication. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with Applied Scientists to turn prototypes into production-grade systems. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of AI models into customer-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create scalable backend services for agentic AI

• Collaborate with Applied Scientists on model production

• Develop APIs for low-latency AI services

• Build systems for model monitoring and deployment

• Improve reliability and efficiency of AI systems

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

• Strong skills in backend systems and distributed services

• Experience with AI-enabled backend applications

• Proficient in Python and other backend languages

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
