Job Description

Lead innovative branding and packaging design as Markage's Design Director in Calgary, Vancouver, or Toronto. Oversee creative direction across projects, from conception to execution.

Markage invites an experienced Design Director specializing in Branding & Packaging to drive creative strategy in-house. This role involves guiding multidisciplinary teams while ensuring high standards of quality and distinctiveness in all design outputs. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to fulfill design goals and maintain a rigorous production process.

Key Responsibilities: • Establish creative vision for branding and packaging efforts • Translate strategic goals into cohesive design systems • Manage concept reviews and support designers' development • Supervise packaging design and brand applications • Present critical decisions and creative direction to clients

Requirements: • Significant senior design experience with a solid portfolio • Proven ability in leading diverse design teams • Effective presentation and client interaction skills • Ability to navigate creative and commercial challenges • Valid DEX-MAD certification in relevant domain
