Elevate your legal career with StackAdapt as a remote Privacy Counsel focusing on data protection and compliance. Partner closely with the Global Privacy Counsel to shape privacy governance strategies.

In this pivotal role, you will support and enhance StackAdapt's privacy program while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your expertise will ensure compliance with data protection laws and assist in negotiating Data Processing Agreements. This dynamic position is ideal for a professional with over 5 years in legal operations or privacy within the adtech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop privacy strategies in collaboration with legal teams

• Negotiate Data Processing Agreements for compliance

• Monitor and analyze evolving privacy laws

• Assist with internal training and privacy assessments

• Implement privacy by design principles during projects

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in privacy or legal operations

• Strong knowledge of data protection laws

• Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail

• Active U.S. state bar membership required

• IAPP Privacy certification is a plus
