Ovation Healthcare is seeking a Same Day Surgery Coder with at least three years of experience. This role is pivotal for professionals accustomed to applying coding guidelines to medical records, ensuring proper billing, and enhancing reimbursement processes. Your focus will be on outpatient surgical coding while collaborating with skilled subject matter experts in a supportive culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply coding standards to medical record documentation

• Submit queries to resolve discrepancies in documentation

• Perform quality assessments of medical records

• Review charges and recommend changes as necessary

• Abstract and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes

Requirements:

• Three years of Same Day Surgery coding experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and remote work

• AHIMA/AAPC Credentials required

• Maintain 95% quality accuracy rate

• Auditing experience of five years preferred
