VCH Business Analytics Advisor Role

Job Description

Support data-driven strategies as a Business Advisor, Data and Analytics with Vancouver Coastal Health. This role focuses on analyzing data to inform key organizational decisions.

VCH seeks a Business Advisor to enhance the Enterprise Business Analytics Team’s capacity for data analysis and strategic decision-making. A Bachelor's degree and at least three years of related experience are required. You will collaborate with various teams to understand data needs and apply advanced analytical techniques for informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze organizational data for actionable insights

• Collaborate with internal partners to define data needs

• Build and apply data models aligned with business objectives

• Generate visual reports to communicate findings

• Ensure integrity and accuracy in data analytics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Minimum three years' experience in business analytics

• Strong skills in SQL, R, and visualization tools

• Excellent communication skills for non-technical audiences

• Knowledge of healthcare data privacy regulations
