Mine Engineer - Planning and Scheduling

Job Description

Step into a pivotal role as a Mine Planning Engineer at Peter Lucas Project Management, where you will manage mine planning and scheduling for underground operations. This position offers a collaborative environment.

You will be responsible for developing and executing both short and mid-range mine plans in close alliance with operations and technical teams. Your strong analytical abilities and hands-on presence underground will contribute significantly to meeting production goals and ensuring safety throughout all processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and create effective mine plans and monthly schedules

• Conduct overbreak analysis and operational studies

• Work with teams to ensure plans are executable

• Coordinate resource needs for ongoing projects

• Support economic assessments and design evaluations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining or equivalent

• P.Eng. eligibility or registration with EGBC

• 3+ years of relevant underground experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Deswik

• Collaboration with various operational teams required
