D-Wave Quantum Patent Agent Position

Job Description

As part of our Intellectual Property team, you will support the identification and prosecution of valuable innovations. This role requires collaboration with inventors and coordination with external counsel to ensure comprehensive IP strategies. Opportunities are available for Intermediate, Senior, or Lead Patent Specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and protect valuable innovations collaboratively

• Draft patent applications in diverse technical areas

• Coordinate with external patent attorneys efficiently

• Enhance our IP portfolio management practices

Requirements:

• Relevant technical degree required

• Experience in patent drafting and prosecution

• Canadian Patent Agent registration is an asset

• Strong analytical abilities and communication skills

• Proven organizational skills with multiple projects
