Bimbo Canada Millwright Apprentice Position

Job Description

Join Bimbo Canada as a Millwright Apprentice, where you can grow in your trade. This permanent full-time role in Hannon, ON, operates on a continental shifting schedule.

We seek an ambitious 3rd or 4th year Millwright Apprentice keen to thrive in a food manufacturing context. Experience in industrial environments and knowledge of CMMS will be advantageous. Applicants must ensure compliance with stringent safety guidelines, including lockout/tagout policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute maintenance tasks to enhance machine performance

• Implement lockout/tagout policies diligently

• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to resolve issues

• Participate in routine inspections and preventative upkeep

• Ensure a clean and safety-first workplace culture

Requirements:

• Must possess a 3rd or 4th year Millwright License

• Background in food manufacturing preferred

• Understanding of CMMS beneficial

• Strong adherence to safety protocols

• Ability to work rotating shifts
