Fidelity Operations Representative, GIC Focus

Job Description

Be part of Fidelity Clearing Canada as an Operations Representative, specializing in Guaranteed Investment Certificates. This hybrid role emphasizes accuracy in transaction processing and excellent client service.

In this position, you are responsible for the timely processing of GIC transactions, contributing to the overall operational excellence of Fidelity’s services. You will engage with clients and internal partners, ensuring their needs are met effectively. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities: • Validate daily transactions related to GIC orders • Execute GIC settlements and wire payments via CDS • Enter and manage GIC purchase orders efficiently • Reconcile commission distributions to clients • Support onboarding for GIC issuers effectively

Requirements: • Two years of experience in a financial environment • Foundational knowledge of GICs preferred • Strong communication and attention-to-detail skills • Excellent problem-solving capabilities • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel tools
