Power Platform Developer

Job type: Contract(6 Months) - High possibility of Extension

Pay: CAD $55 /Hour

Overview As a Power Platform Developer , you will play a key role in designing and delivering innovative business applications and automation solutions using Microsoft’s low-code ecosystem. Your expertise will help streamline business processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive digital transformation across organizations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands‑on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, along with a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 integrations and enterprise‑grade solution development.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑driven apps)

Build and manage automated workflows using Power Automate, including complex business processes and approval flows

Develop insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI, including data modeling and DAX calculations

Integrate solutions with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.)

Work with Dataverse, SharePoint Online, SQL, and REST APIs to enable seamless data integration

Analyze current business processes and identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency

Design and implement enterprise‑grade automation and workflow solutions

Ensure adherence to Power Platform governance, security roles, and environment management best practices

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions

Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for deployed solutions

Manage multiple priorities and deliver solutions in a timely and efficient manner

Stay current with Power Platform updates, features, and industry best practices

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Minimum 5+ years of professional experience working with:

Microsoft Power Apps

Power Automate

Power BI

Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and integrations

Hands‑on experience with:

Dataverse

SharePoint Online

SQL databases

REST APIs / API integrations

Data modeling

DAX

Experience building enterprise‑grade workflows, automation solutions, and approval processes

Knowledge of Power Platform security roles, environments, and governance frameworks

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Nice to Have Experience with Azure services and integrations

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
