CPP Investments Risk & Operations Analyst

Job Description

Join CPP Investments as an Analyst in Strategy, Risk & Operations, focusing on enhancing operational capabilities and fostering collaboration across investment teams. This role offers meaningful contributions to investment operations.

In this one-year contract role, you will assist in advancing the operational-readiness agenda for Capital Markets and Factor Investing. Your efforts in improving processes, data quality, and onboarding funds will play a vital role in achieving sustainable operational performance. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate operational readiness initiatives from implementation to adoption

• Measure and report on operational effectiveness using metrics

• Identify root causes of operational and data issues

• Oversee onboarding processes for investment funds

• Collaborate to improve investment data quality and reporting

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, or Computer Science

• Exposure to investment management and operations preferred

• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in Excel, knowledge of SQL or data tools beneficial

• Ownership mindset with attention to detail
