Casual Transitional Housing Support Worker

Job Description

Engage with residents at Grace Mansion as a Casual Transitional Housing Support Worker with The Salvation Army. This role focuses on personal development and life skills in a supportive environment.

Grace Mansion is seeking a dedicated Casual/On-Call Residential Support Worker to assist residents. The ideal candidate will contribute to personal growth, life skill acquisition, and social activities. You will monitor interactions, maintain confidentiality, and respond to emergencies, all within the framework of The Salvation Army's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor resident actions during shifts

• Respond to inquiries in accordance with policies

• Maintain accurate records and confidential files

• Coordinate resources with local agencies for residents

• Assist residents through crises with compassion

Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• 10 months’ experience in a residential setting

• First Aid/CPR certification needed

• Certification in Addictions or Mental Health preferred

• Criminal Record Review clearance required
