In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications.

We are looking for an engineer who thinks beyond writing automated test scripts. You are comfortable working independently, continuously learning new technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build high-quality software. This role goes beyond validating traditional UI elements such as buttons, forms, and text. We are looking for someone who can design testing strategies for complex application features, including backend services, APIs, interactive maps, geospatial features, dynamic visualizations, and other non-traditional UI components, ensuring a reliable and intuitive user experience.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and reliable test automation frameworks

Create and execute automated tests for backend services, REST APIs, integrations, and end-to-end user workflows

Design automation strategies for complex application features, including interactive maps, geospatial data, dynamic visualizations, and other non-standard UI components

Validate cloud-native applications deployed on AWS and ensure system reliability across distributed architectures

Troubleshoot application and test failures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently

Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for high-quality software releases

Partner closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to promote quality throughout the entire SDLC

Advocate for quality as a shared engineering responsibility

Minimum Qualifications 6+ years of experience in Software Development and Test Automation

Experience validating, troubleshooting, and testing applications deployed in AWS environments

Ability to work independently, take ownership of testing initiatives, and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal guidance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications Experience testing microservices and distributed systems

Experience validating interactive maps, GIS/geospatial features, data visualizations, canvas-based applications, or other highly interactive user interfaces

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
