YVR Program Coordinator, Risk Management

Job Description

Elevate safety and resilience at YVR as a full-time Program Coordinator specializing in Risk and Resilience. Shape operational improvements through proactive risk management and training initiatives.

This position calls for a critical thinker passionate about developing effective operational and business continuity plans. You will assess risks, maintain compliance, and engage stakeholders to facilitate operational readiness and responsiveness in airport procedures. This dynamic role also supports key airside contracts and activities, enhancing overall safety and efficiency at YVR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain operational and recovery strategies

• Administer the FOD Management and Aircraft Recovery Plans

• Conduct tabletop exercises to drive improvements

• Identify and respond to airside operational risks

• Support emergency preparedness initiatives

Requirements:

• Three years’ experience in an operational setting

• Comprehensive knowledge of aviation standards and environments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication techniques

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
