Pipefitter

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Description We're looking for an experienced Pipefitter to join our team in Delta, BC. You'll work on industrial piping systems, completing repairs, modifications, and new installations while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

You'll work closely with Operations staff and other tradespeople in a team environment, with opportunities to continue learning and developing your trade skills.

What You'll Be Doing Perform journeyman-level pipefitting, repairs, and installations.

Repair and modify piping systems, including systems affected by abrasive or corrosive wear.

Install and alter piping systems at treatment plants, pumping stations, and other facilities.

Measure, cut, thread, fit, and install steel, stainless steel, cast iron, PVC, and other types of pipe and conduit.

Test piping systems after completing work.

Troubleshoot existing piping systems and identify repair or improvement needs.

Plan work methods and procedures based on job requirements.

Direct and support assigned helpers.

Follow safe work practices and ensure safety requirements are met on job sites.

Work collaboratively with Operations staff and other trades.

What You Must Have Grade 12 education.

Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints.

Experience working in industrial environments.

Ability to work in enclosed, wet, and dirty environments, including sewage areas.

Ability to provide your own hand tools.

Health certificate for watershed entry.

Valid B.C. Driver's Licence.
