Material Handler

Duties & Responsibilities

Operate an overhead crane to load coil into a press

Off loading and transferring parts

Move freight & stock to production areas either manually or using equipment such as forklifts and cranes

Maintain 5S

Other duties, as required

Qualifications

Previous Forklift experience required (preferably 2+ years dockstocker/standup/reach)

Overhead Crane experience preferred

Experience working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment

Knowledge and experience with 5S & Kaizen systems preferred but not mandatory

Attention to detail in all areas of work

Must be able to take direction comfortably, able to multi‑task, managing time efficiently to obtain optimum results

Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination required

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
