Job Description

Advance your career as a Senior Data Engineer at Central 1, focusing on Azure solutions and Microsoft Fabric. This role involves building robust data pipelines for secure insights into financial services.

As a critical team member, you'll design and implement cloud-based data pipelines that support the strategic goals of Central 1, benefiting credit unions across Canada. This 6-month contract involves collaboration with stakeholders to enhance member experiences while ensuring compliance with data regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design cloud-based data solutions using Microsoft Fabric

• Ensure data security with encryption and access controls

• Collaborate on governance and data quality initiatives

• Monitor and optimize data platform performance

• Document processes clearly in Confluence

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering with Azure

• Proficient in SQL, Python/PySpark, and data processing workflows

• Understanding of financial compliance regulations

• Experience with tools like Jira and Confluence
