Take charge of frontend development at vidIQ as a Lead Frontend Engineer. This remote opportunity empowers you to create impactful software for over one million YouTube creators every day.

vidIQ is seeking a skilled engineer with at least five years in software development. You will be pivotal in leading a team that builds and refines user-facing features using technologies like React, TypeScript, and AI tools. This role has a strong focus on ownership—from the frontend to backend operations—enabling you to shape user experiences and drive product improvements across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own complete product surfaces from UI to performance

• Build and modify backend APIs and data flows

• Develop a roadmap driven by user feedback

• Lead refactoring from JavaScript to TypeScript

• Integrate AI features across the stack

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience

• Expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js

• Familiar with backend design and debugging

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experienced in AI tooling and workflows
