Java Developer for Trading Solutions at RBC

Join RBC as a Senior Java Developer focused on developing innovative trading solutions. Work with advanced technology stacks in a team-oriented structure.

As part of the Trading & Execution Services, you'll be tasked with creating and maintaining applications crucial for the Global Equities business. This role is suited for experienced Java developers with expertise in streaming data handling and a passion for AI-driven solutions that enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and troubleshoot Java/Spring Boot applications

• Handle integration of FIX protocol feeds and other data sources

• Optimize application performance for real-time processing

• Apply AI tools for code generation and automation

• Collaborate with QA for effective testing and deployment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent

• 7+ years of hands-on Java/Spring Boot experience

• 5+ years in real-time processing in capital markets

• Strong knowledge of database systems and SQL

• Experience in leveraging AI tools for software development
