OISE Human Resources Advisor Role

Job Description

Shape the future of education at OISE as a Human Resources Advisor in Downtown Toronto. Focus on strategies for recruitment and employee relations within an equitable framework.

This term role involves delivering comprehensive HR services under the direction of the Director of Human Resources. A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion will guide your day-to-day interactions with both unionized and non-unionized personnel. Collaborating effectively with other departments will be key to supporting OISE's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment for staffing needs

• Develop onboarding strategies for new hires

• Provide guidance on salary administration and job evaluations

• Conduct research on HR-related topics

• Implement compliance measures in recruitment processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent experience

• At least three years managing unionized recruitment

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• High proficiency with MS Office and HRIS tools

• Ability to navigate HR challenges with tact and discretion
