Senior Structural Engineer at CIMA+

Job Description

Become a key player at CIMA+ as a Senior Structural Engineer in Calgary, delivering complex water and wastewater projects. Lead structural design and mentor engineering talent while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

In this senior role, you will contribute to CIMA+’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure development across Western Canada. Focused on water and wastewater facilities, you will engage in project management and structural analysis while ensuring compliance with Canadian standards. Work within a highly collaborative team environment that values innovative solutions and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design on water and wastewater infrastructure projects

• Prepare and review structural calculations and technical reports

• Provide guidance to junior engineers and designers

• Conduct site investigations and evaluations of existing structures

• Monitor project scope, timeline, and budget for successful delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with Structural Engineering focus

• P.Eng. designation and a minimum of 10 years' experience

• Strong knowledge of building codes and design standards

• Proven ability to mentor junior staff and manage client relationships

• Willingness to travel for project site visits
