Job Description

Become a Seasonal Package Handler at FedEx Canada, focusing on the efficient loading and handling of freight. This role demands strong physical capabilities and interpersonal skills.

Working part-time from Monday to Saturday during peak hours, you'll load, unload, scan, and sort freight within the facility. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, along with a grasp of FedEx operations and Canadian Customs regulations. You will also need to complete necessary training and handle packages up to 150 lbs safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately load and unload freight as required

• Scan packages and sort them efficiently

• Follow all safety guidelines while handling freight

• Lift and move packages up to 70 lbs and maneuver heavier items

• Complete all necessary training to maintain compliance

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred

• Knowledge of Canadian Customs regulations (preferred)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to complete all basic training programs

• Bilingual candidates (French and English) preferred in Quebec
