Intermediate Underwriter with Gore Mutual

Job Description

Join Gore Mutual as an Intermediate Underwriter and play a key role in crafting commercial insurance solutions. Work in a hybrid environment, collaborating in the vibrant Vancouver office.

As part of the Commercial Underwriting team, you'll enhance your underwriting skills while ensuring exceptional service to brokers and clients. A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required. We focus on building long-term relationships and developing tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create bespoke insurance solutions for commercial clients

• Enhance service delivery to broker partners

• Manage change to improve operational effectiveness

• Exercise sound judgment and analytical abilities

• Maintain exceptional communication and negotiation skills

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in commercial underwriting

• Degree, college diploma, or equivalent

• Enrollment in or completion of CIP/FCIP

• Comfortable working under pressure

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
