Join Actalent Services as a Senior Civil Engineer focused on electrical distribution projects in British Columbia. Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with BC Hydro standards in a hybrid work model.

Actalent Services is seeking an experienced Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer (P.Eng.) to act as the Professional of Record for electrical distribution projects with BC Hydro. You will oversee civil engineering designs and ensure adherence to municipal and utility standards. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in underground electrical infrastructure project delivery while coordinating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Professional of Record for civil engineering designs

• Review and approve engineering designs per EGBC standards

• Lead design activities for underground electrical distribution

• Conduct engineering calculations and constructability assessments

• Coordinate with BC Hydro and project stakeholders for compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

• Registered P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC

• Five years of experience in electrical distribution projects

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office

• Strong communication and coordination skills
