Front-End Quality Engineer — Playwright / React

We're looking for a hands-on Front-End Quality Engineer (QE) who knows how to build automation—not just execute test scripts.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright

Develop automated and manual tests for React web applications

Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end (E2E) testing

Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines

Investigate test failures, identify defects and work closely with developers and product teams

Improve test coverage, QA processes and automation best practices

Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment to help deliver high-quality software

What You Bring

5+ years in Quality Engineering, Software Testing or Test Automation

Experience testing React.js applications

Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks

Solid understanding of functional, regression, smoke and E2E testing

Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills

Nice to Have

CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins

API testing experience

Cloud-based application experience

Performance or accessibility testing

Shortlisted candidates will participate in an interview and an online technical assessment .

1. Describe a Playwright automation framework you personally built or maintained. What was the architecture and why did you choose it?

2. A Playwright test passes locally but fails intermittently in CI. How would you diagnose and resolve the issue?

3. How do you create reliable selectors for a dynamic React application, and which Playwright locator strategies do you prefer?

4. Explain how you would implement authentication, test fixtures, and test data management in a large Playwright/TypeScript framework.

5. Describe how you have integrated Playwright into a CI/CD pipeline and how you handle failures, screenshots, traces, and reporting.
