ServcoCanada Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for our Snow Lake, Manitoba project for approximately 6 months, travelling to Snow Lake 1-2 weeks per month. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience on a major project, with potential for continued project assignments upon completion. Upon completion of the project, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time permanent role based out of our Winnipeg or Regina office, subject to operational requirements, with travel to project sites as needed.

This role is pivotal in overseeing project execution, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with our high standards of quality. The Project Manager will play a key role in fostering collaboration among our diverse team of tradespeople and specialists.

As a valued member of the team, your core responsibilities will include:

• Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with various teams, including tradespeople, engineers, and site logistics specialists, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to stay on track.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans,schedules, and reports for stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and services required for projects.
• Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to promote collaboration and resolve issues promptly.
• Travels to job site.

The following qualifications are required of the successful candidate:

• Legally entitled to work in Canada and able to demonstrate long-term work authorization
• Resides in or near Winnipeg, Manitoba, or Regina,Saskatchewan
• Have a valid driver’s license and own transportation as bus transportation is not available
• Willingness to travel to the job site at Snow Lake,Manitoba 1-2 weeks per month
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction or industrial sector.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure project milestones are met.
• Familiarity with quality management principles and practices is essential.
• Experience with CMiC Software and Advanced Excel skills is an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
