MPE Intermediate Civil Engineer Role

Job Description

Step into the role of Intermediate Civil Engineer at MPE, focusing on water management and engineering solutions. This position is based in Sudbury, Ontario, and requires extensive project management skills.

As part of MPE’s Water Resources team, this intermediate position is ideal for qualified civil or environmental engineers. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree along with P.Eng. registration. With a focus on hydropower and drainage systems, your 4-8 years of experience will enable you to excel in project leadership and client management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering projects and perform contract administration

• Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff

• Develop design drawings, specifications, and reports

• Oversee construction administration and supervision duties

• Work with clients to fulfill project needs and objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

• PEO registration as P.Eng.

• 4-8 years engineering experience, including project management

• Strong leadership skills in engineering teams

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
