Experienced Jumbo Operator Needed

Job Description

Join Redpath as an experienced Jumbo Operator in Northern Quebec. Operate jumbos safely on a structured rotation while enhancing your mining career.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working with jumbo drills, embracing safety as a priority. In this position, you’ll be responsible for setting up and operating jumbo equipment, preparing drilling surfaces, and following exacting safety protocols. Your ability to collaborate and adhere to regulations will contribute to a safe working environment in the mining project.

Key Responsibilities: • Operate and maintain jumbo drills for optimal performance • Visually inspect work areas for safety compliance • Follow survey and engineering plans meticulously • Perform daily equipment checks and necessary repairs • Maintain an orderly working environment

Requirements: • 3+ years of Jumbo operation experience • Valid driver's license and General Explosives Permit • Knowledge of WHMIS and safety regulations • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to interpret mine plans effectively
