Lead Project Manager for Utilities

Job Description

Drive utility infrastructure projects as a senior project manager at Aecon. This role requires expertise in managing high voltage transmission initiatives effectively.

As a project manager, you will lead large-scale utility projects from inception to completion. Your strategic guidance will ensure that all phases meet key objectives, including safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Engage with stakeholders, manage partnerships, and steer your teams toward achieving shared goals in infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead project delivery with safety and quality focus • Manage full project lifecycle including construction and commissioning • Oversee budgeting, risk management, and executive reporting • Coordinate contractor procurement and performance management • Build partnerships with utilities and Indigenous groups

Requirements: • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent • 10+ years of relevant project management experience • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities • Experience in contract management and project controls • Willingness to work on-site for project execution
