Material Handler 2 Seeking Growth

Job Description

Step into the role of Material Handler 2, where your focus will be on timely material delivery and supporting production efficiency. This position requires a valid Fork Lift license and strong teamwork skills.

As a Material Handler 2, you report to the Receiving Supervisor and collaborate with both shop floor and receiving staff. Your role involves managing packing slips and kanban orders, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining overall cleanliness in the workplace. Adaptability to various tasks and a commitment to safety are crucial in this fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Receive packing slips and fulfill orders promptly • Deliver production materials as required • Execute accurate cycle counting procedures • Participate in cardboard recycling and keep work area clean • Support other departments when needed

Requirements: • Valid Fork Lift license with one year of experience • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to identify hazards and unsafe conditions • Willingness to take on new responsibilities • Capacity to lift 50lbs frequently
