Join D-Wave Quantum as a Senior Software Developer, specializing in Python and C++. Focus on enhancing the Ocean SDK while impacting the future of quantum computing.

D-Wave Quantum is seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer to join the Algorithms, Performance, and Tools (APT) team. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of Ocean, our open-source SDK for quantum and hybrid problem solving. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in software development alongside an enthusiasm for clean and maintainable coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and build Python and C++ packages

• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code

• Contribute to the open-source Ocean SDK

• Collaborate on examples and tutorials for users

• Support high-quality code development for internal and external clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software development

• Several years of professional experience in coding

• Proven track record in open-source contributions

• Strong skills in Python and C++, including CI platforms

• Experience with end-to-end software project lifecycles
