Lead mechanical engineering initiatives in the hydroelectric sector, focusing on turbine rehabilitation and operations. This primarily in-office position also offers the option for remote work two days per week, striking a perfect balance.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will provide crucial support for on-site activities and engage with a team of skilled professionals. With 5-10 years of experience, your role encompasses evaluating existing systems, addressing technical challenges, and delivering project oversight. Your decisions will directly impact project efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: • Perform thorough assessments on hydro systems • Oversee daily communication with the site team • Develop recommendations during inspections • Facilitate the commissioning of projects • Resolve operational issues effectively

Requirements: • Must possess a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering • At least 5 years of relevant hydroelectric experience • Active membership with Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec • Legal authorization to work in Canada required
