Advance your career with AlphaSense as a Security Operations Analyst II, in a fully remote position from Canada. This role prioritizes alert triage and structured investigations in security operations.

We are hiring for a Security Operations Analyst II to join our security team. In this position, you will handle daily security alerts, conduct thorough investigations, and support incident response efforts. You’ll collaborate with seasoned analysts while improving detection capabilities and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately monitor and triage security alerts

• Investigate ambiguous cases and provide context

• Classify alerts with proper documentation

• Assist in incident response under senior guidance

• Contribute to documentation throughout the incident lifecycle

Requirements:

• 2–4+ years of hands-on security operations experience

• Strong grasp of the MITRE ATT&CK framework

• Familiarity with security monitoring and investigation tools

• Knowledge of core network protocols

• Experience with cloud security and identity alerts
