Job Description

Enhance data solutions at State Street by becoming a Data Engineer specializing in Databricks. Utilize your skills to create efficient high-volume data pipelines in a hybrid work model.

This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines using Databricks on Azure/AWS. You will work collaboratively to resolve data issues while contributing to the full software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and construct data ingestion pipelines for diverse data types

• Optimize Databricks job performance for complex queries

• Handle data quality issues through analysis and corrective action

• Manage all phases of software development lifecycle effectively

• Collaborate across teams to achieve project goals

Requirements:

• 7+ years of IT experience, including data engineering roles

• Proven experience with Databricks SQL & Scala/PySpark

• Strong understanding of cloud services, specifically Azure/AWS

• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities

• Experience in financial services is preferred
